Briar Cheatham places fourth in return to racing

After taking the summer off, Briar Cheatham returned to the driver's seat of his No. 87 machine at Deep South Speedway (Loxley, Ala.) on Saturday night.

Stopping the clock second-quickest out of 10 Late Models, Cheatham started on the outside pole for the 15-lap main event and wound up just off the podium in fourth.
